Effective date: May 29, 2026
These terms govern access to the macCurrent website, hosted services, and beta software provided by Conduit Technologies, LLC. By downloading, installing, or using macCurrent, you agree to these terms.
Beta software
macCurrent beta is pre-release software. It may contain errors, change frequently, collect beta feedback, and expire 30 days after release. You are responsible for deciding whether beta software is appropriate for your Mac and workflow.
License
Conduit Technologies, LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use macCurrent during the beta period on Macs that you own or are authorized to manage. You may not reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense macCurrent except where applicable law allows otherwise.
Beta access and pricing
The beta is free to download and use during the beta period. Beta access does not require payment. Future releases may use different licensing, pricing, or distribution terms.
Application updates
macCurrent helps identify available updates and may help open, download, or install updates from supported sources. Third-party applications, installers, update feeds, package managers, and vendor update flows remain controlled by their respective publishers. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting third-party terms and update prompts.
Permissions and system changes
macCurrent may request macOS permissions such as App Management, notification access, and access needed to scan or update applications. Some features may use Homebrew, mas, Microsoft AutoUpdate, the Mac App Store, or vendor installers. You are responsible for authorizing only actions you understand and for maintaining backups of important data.
Feedback and issue reports
If you submit feedback, diagnostics, screenshots, or issue reports, you authorize Conduit Technologies, LLC to use that information to investigate issues, improve macCurrent, maintain the catalog, and operate the beta program. Do not submit confidential information, secrets, credentials, or screenshots containing sensitive personal information.
Acceptable use
You may not use macCurrent or its services to interfere with the service, bypass access controls, submit abusive or misleading reports, probe infrastructure without authorization, or violate applicable law or third-party rights.
Intellectual property
macCurrent, the website, icons, catalog service, and related materials are owned by Conduit Technologies, LLC or its licensors. Third-party app names, trademarks, update feeds, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
Service availability
The beta, hosted catalog, release downloads, update metadata, and issue submission services may be changed, rate-limited, interrupted, or discontinued at any time. macCurrent may not detect every installed app or every available update.
No warranties
macCurrent is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conduit Technologies, LLC disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conduit Technologies, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, failed updates, or third-party software behavior arising from use of macCurrent.
Privacy
The macCurrent Privacy Policy explains what information is processed by the app, website, hosted catalog, and beta issue submission flow.

During the beta, use Submit Issue in the macCurrent beta sidebar or the Help menu to send issue details, screenshots, and optional diagnostics.
